In our last blog, we asked for readers to send in pictures of some of their summer cooking. Ferret lover Julie in Maryland took up the challenge:

Her son James fished off the coast. He caught the biggest fish that day, a five pound flounder. Which not only produced these beautiful fillets - but won a prize of $100 too!

It was combined with some lump crabmeat...

And voila - a Maryland favorite, crab-stuffed flounder. Yum!

We caught a flounder this summer too. But not much good for dinner. Or winning any prize money, unless someone knows of a contest for "World's Smallest Flounder"!

Summer is gone, but won't be forgotten in Julie's freezer.
